We are a collective of seasoned commercial directors and producers committed to passing the craft forward. Through hands-on classes rooted in real-world set experience, we teach the next generation how commercial production, filmmaking, and YouTube actually work. From idea and script to pre-production, shooting, and post-production. Our goal is to sharpen and encourage each student’s skills, build confidence on set, and help them develop the creative, technical, and professional habits needed to thrive in the industry while sharing some secrets that you can't find in any book or YouTube video.

Join Dallas Film Workshop and step onto a real set, with real gear, real deadlines, and a crew that’s here to help you grow. Every Saturday, you’ll learn by doing camera, lighting, sound, directing, and editing, while collaborating with other filmmakers who take the craft seriously. If your goal is to do your own YouTube content, we will teach you the basics to get your videos to millions of views.
This isn’t a lecture series. It’s a hands-on program built around production. You’ll practice the same workflows professionals use, get feedback that actually improves your results, and build relationships that can turn into your next crew, your next project, or your next opportunity.
By the end, you won’t just “know more.” You’ll leave with a finished 5-minute short documentary you can share, submit, and put on your reel, proof of your progress, and a strong first step toward bigger projects.
